How Much Hair Do I Need?
—The answer lies in your hair density
Your hair density refers to the amount of hairs found in 1 square inch on your scalp. Everybody's density varies around the head, but when it comes to extensions, the part of the head to look at is the interior (below the rounds of the head and 0.5" behind your front, side, and back hairlines). Note: Adding density to the exterior is possible with the single-strand method made popular by Combline and V-Lights. This service is applied in "areas", most commonly the top, hairline, and crown.

INTERIOR
Density Test:
While looking in a mirror, take a handful of interior hair (above the ear is good) and pull it out from the head. If you can easily see your scalp, you have low density. Partial scalp visibility means medium density, and high density is where the scalp is barely visible.
Choosing the Right Service:
The purpose of the install + your natural density will determine how much hair you need and what installation to book. If you want to:
1) Add Density
-
Choose 1 pack/row (≈ 50g of hair)
-
Great for all densities
2) Add Length (added density happens by default here)
-
Choose 2 packs/rows (≈ 100g of hair) if you have normal density
-
Choose 3 packs/rows (≈ 150g of hair)) if you have high density
3) Add MAXIMUM length (more than 6")
-
Choose 3 packs/rows (≈ 150g of hair)
-
The added row helps to blend out the difference between your natural length and the extensions
